2.6 Supported PCIe adapters
In this section, we provide more information about supported PCIe I/O adapters on Power E1080 server as on system general availability date September 17th, 2021. This list tends to update frequently as more PCIe I/O adapters are tested and certified. The latest list of supported adapters through announcement letters, is available at this web page.
The Order type table column in the following subsections is defined as:
Initial Denotes the orderability of a feature for only the new purchase of the system
MES Denotes the orderability of a feature for only the MES upgrade purchases on the system
Both Denotes the orderability of a feature for both new and MES upgrade purchases
Supported Denotes that feature is not orderable, but is supported; that is, the feature can be migrated only from existing systems.

2.6.1 LAN adapters
The supported LAN adapters are listed in Table 2-16.
